The Child Development Center is currently enrolling children for our full day kindergarten program, our twelve month to twenty four month old classes, and part time spaces in our preschool programs. We offer a full time schedule, Monday through Friday, and a Part –time schedule Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday. The Concord Family YMCA programs provide State Licensed Plus care for children in a safe setting with opportunities for mental, physical, social and emotional development. The Concord Family YMCA programs strive to support and strengthen family relationships while providing a sense of community with other families. We believe our program should be an extension of the home and should in no way attempt to be a substitute for, or in competition with, the home. The cooperative experience will set the stage between the child’s education and interest and the parent’s involvement. Special emphasis is placed on establishing the child’s self-esteem and self-confidence. We do this by offering a wide range of activities which are appropriately designed for the ages of the children we serve. Combined with the YMCA’s core character traits of, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, children’s lives are enriched while they learn. All children will also participate in swim and gym programs offered at the YMCA. Financial Assistance is available. Second child discount: $10.00 per child.
