Ways to Support the Concord Family YMCA

Every gift, regardless of size, makes a difference and is gratefully received. All gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law.

Make your donation by Mail or Phone or Cash the Concord Family YMCA Development Office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am – 5 pm.

 

Corporate Matching Gifts

Leverage your gift to the Concord Family Y by utilizing your company’s matching gift program, which can multiply the amount of your contribution. To find out if you company (or your spouse’s) has a matching gift program, please contact your Human Resources Office.

 

Pledges

The Concord Family YMCA welcomes your gift through a pledge. With a pledge you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time, allowing you to give more generously than you originally may have considered.

 

Annual Fund Gift

Gifts to the Annual Fund have made a difference for more than 157 years. A gift through the Annual Fund ensures the long tradition of meeting the needs of the greater Concord area for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

 

Endowment Gift

Endowment gifts are investments in the future of the Concord Family YMCA. Endowments funds are maintained in perpetuity and held for a specific purpose designated by the donor. Only the annual income is used for the specific purpose.

 

Memorial Gift

Remembering a family member, friend or colleague who has passed on is a lasting tribute to someone loved while providing the satisfaction of knowing they have helped others.

 

In Celebration

Remember a birthday, anniversary or special occasion for a friend or family member. An acknowledgement will be sent to the honoree.

 

Matching Gift

Your employer may have an employee-matching gift program that will match your gift, dollar for dollar. Please forward the matching gift form provided by your employer along with your donation.

 

Estate Planning/Bequests

A gift made through your Will is a very thoughtful and often simple vehicle to say “Thank You” in a significant way. Planned gifts can bring donors tax benefits and in some cases income for life.

 

Gifts of Stocks and Bonds

You may consider giving an appreciated security.

 

Bequest

Bequests are made through your Will, either by writing a new Will or adding a Codicil to an existing Will. Bequests can take the form of a specific dollar amount, or percentage of an estate.

 

Life Insurance

 Name the charity as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy. This enables the donor to leave all or a portion of a death benefit to the charity, i.e. the Concord Family YMCA.

 

Gift Annuities

A Gift Annuity enables you to transfer personal assets to the Concord Family YMCA, which then pays you a fixed annual income that is guaranteed for life. Most Gift Annuities are established with $10,000 or more.

 

Charitable Remainder Trust

A donor makes an irrevocable gift to establish the Charitable Remainder Trust, which provides the donor with income for life and annual tax benefits. Upon the death of the donor, assets from the trust benefit the charity, i.e. the Concord Family YMCA.
